     Connie is originally from Port Deposit, Maryland…

… but has called Florida home for many years. Connie has studied under influential artists during her award-winning career as an artist which began in earnest after she retired from nursing. These artists include Paul Honore, Narcissa Perin, Jane Angelhart, Don Getz, Tom Jones, Janet Rodgers, Carole Wilen, Diane Cannon, and Susan Blakeslee. Connie is a member of the Brevard Watercolor Society, Central Brevard Art Association, and The Brevard Cultural Alliance and is represented by Eau Gallery.

Connie has studied and worked in oil painting, but her awards have come from her beautiful watercolor work. These awards include the acceptance of one piece in 2008 to the Florida Watercolor Society annual show in Delray Beach, Florida. Other awards include 3rd place in 2008 and Best of Show in 2010 BWS MIWL shows, 3rd place in 2008 in the Titusville Art League Show, a merit award in both 2010 and 2012 in the BWS Splash shows, a merit award in the 2012 Art Gallery of Viera “Brush with Success” show, a 1st place in 2014 and a 2nd place in 2015 in the BCAA annual juried show.
