Eddie Rosdhal

Eddie G. Rosdhal

Eddie has been painting and creating all his life, enjoying surrealism, acrylics, watercolors, photography, or any media he felt compelled to create. He received a BS in Biology and studied art at Trevecca University in Nashville TN. After graduation he lived in a variety of locations from Winston-Salem NC to the Florida Keys. During these years he enjoyed the opportunity to travel around the world, setting up art shows, enriching his photography and even setting up 3 different art galleries in the Winston-Salem downtown arts district. But it was after a remarriage and a battle with colon cancer in 2016 that saw Eddie and his new bride settle in Florida, first in Hollywood and then in Cudjoe Key where Eddie honed his artistic abilities.

Eddie is working with “Celebrations of Life” which is out of Minneapolis, MN as an artist, photographer and a designer for legacy ideas and book covers. He was the still photographer for a movie titled “Outer Dark”, a film adaptation of the Cormac McCarthy novel. He partnered with Carolina Balloon Fest as their photographer for their shows and he was also hired to paint on the presidential 767 plane of the Republic of Equatoria Guinea, West Africa. Eddie finds the edge in his art and his photography keeping in mind “Always trying to find the edge is the key in art and in life”.
