My wife Daniele and I relocated from northern Wisconsin to Melbourne in mid-2021, where our daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughters have lived since 2012.

In 2010, we moved to Wisconsin after I retired as executive director of a large Chicago-based law firm, McDermott, Will & Emery, after 30 years, as well as from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law, where I was an associate professor of law for 25 years.

In Wisconsin, I was able to pursue my art in between my service as an elected member of the town board, Liberty Grove, and a myriad of volunteer activities.

My art included glass, fused glass, and, increasingly, a variety of mediums, which, today, form the basis of my diverse pieces.

Feeling like I’m really retired from virtually all my outside activities for the very first time in my life, I have devoted most of my time not spent with family here in Melbourne, on my watercolor, collage, acrylics, glass, and multimedia pieces.
